YOUR Comments - Taping, Theraband & Core Stability

Loved the video [Taping, Theraband & Core Stability] and the concept. If you get the chance check out Dermoneuromodulation (DNM)...I know it's a mouthful. A fellow Canadian of yours, Diane Jacobs, is the driving force behind it. And it's along the lines of the k-taping.

I have tried this technique on a couple dogs with problematic, painful hamstrings and it has worked well.

Thanks again and a nice sunny day.

Hey Laurie I enjoyed the theraband and taping video. I had not used kinesio tape but certainly will try. Ttouch has a body wraps book out that I quite enjoy and I have been using the wraps with theraband for core activation. I still use tensors but I liked the extra stimulation of the band.

The booklet is inexpensive I think $14.99 and really you can make up your own wrap but it may get people thinking.

Laurie,

I just want to thank you so much for your teaching...without you i would not be where i am today.  Vets now realize i know that I can determine issues that they have not been trained to find (especially Illipsoas, MSI, Biceps tendon, and even determine true hip issues - Thanks to your videos' and STAAR conference training!)  I have even hired a RVT who did rehab training and hopefully she is coming to the STAAR conference.  I told her to take all your courses.

With my vet clients and others, I call you the 'guru of vet rehab'...and you truly are.  This industry is so much fun and so untapped and we can all learn so much from each other...

Thank you again

Tania

Thanks for the feedback guys!  I think you're all fabulous too!! - Laurie
