Hi Laurie

I was just having a look around your members area to see if you had specifically noted any rehab protocols post meniscus surgery. I don't seem to see anything but I'm sure you will be able to point me to anything you have. Thanks heaps in advance.

BTW too, the radial shockwave appears to have worked well with our paca Luella (combined with e-stim). We are in the process of getting her booked in at the vet hospital at Massey University for follow up x-rays. That will be sometime in the next few weeks - it's a bit of a juggling act to get her there.

Hey Vicki,

Okay, so I don’t have a specific post-meniscal surgery protocol.
That being said, you really would just follow the post op CCL protocol at an expedited pace (not expedited in regards to incision management).
These guys do great! Human meniscal surgeries do great!
They took out the offending bit, you need the incision to heal, and then you just deal with building muscle (once the inflammation / acute pain has mostly subsided).
Strengthen!
