I have been approached by the owner of a nine month old intact female French Bulldog who has no tail (decreased number of vertebrae). Are there any exercises or other things that can be done at an early age to prevent issues as she ages?
Thank you!

Re: Dog with no tail
Right on!
Very thought provoking question!
So, a recent presentation about Rottweilers with docked tails vs intact tails (FourLeg Video coming soon) tells us that there is an impact on Severity of Spondylosis.
From that perspective, I'd be recommending Abdominal Strengthening, and regular manual therapy to the spine. Perhaps routine traction as well. I could also be sold on pro-active lasering.
I hope others chime in! This is off the top of my head!
Thanks for the question!
