I want to know if anyone else has heard of giving dogs Glycogen between their agility runs? I had one little dog whose owner that was doing just that. (Apparently others were as well). Anyways, the little dog reacted to this in such a way that he mimicked having severe back pain - hunched and tender. The owner figured it out for herself what was going on, and eliminating the glyocogen did the trick.
To be honest, I'm not sure that oral glycogen makes much sense in this scenario anyways (even if it didn't give the dog a terrible reaction)...
But I'd love to hear what others have seen!
