Cerebellar ataxia

I'm just looking for other ideas & experiences here.

I currently have the cutest little American Eskimo dog that I'm treating right now with (presumed) cerebellar ataxia. (MRI finds nothing, spinal eval finds nothing, neurologist isn't really offering any differentials... but for all intensive purposes, looks like cerebellar ataxia).

So I did a little bit of researching into what is done on the human side and have been trying some things with the little one. (Bandaging, weights, balancing, etc) The owners are thrilled that she now WANTS to walk again. (It will make it as a FourLeg video one day).

But have any of the rest of you worked with these dogs, and what did you do / try? What about human therapists and people? (That's where I took the info and modified it for dog use in the first place).

I'm looking forward to discussion!

Cheers, Laurie
