GuaSha on a TPLO or TTA?

Post by lehughes »

Loved your talk on Gua Sha. I had an achilles tendon injury about 10 years ago and now I know what he was doing! I can't wait to try this on myself and then my own dogs.

One question. I think you talked about adhesions as well as avoiding bone when doing this. What about adhesions from a TPLO or TTA? I think I'm seeing at least two cases right now that aren't progressing but 8 week+ post op rad show good healing. Is this something I could experiment with (lightly) on those areas?

Thanks and keep up the great work!!!

Well, I think that if you stay within comfort levels, you could try it.

(But check the SIJ.)

Let me know what you find when you try it! In the next video, I recommend blocking boney prominences with your thumb / fingertips.
