Digital Extensor Strengthening

Hi Laurie,

One of our Orthopods was asking if any specific exercises I knew of to help strengthen digital extensors? I don’t know of any but thought to check in with you to see if you have any tricks up your sleeve?

So, what is the pathology?
Basically any foot / toe / forelimb exercises, while non-specific, could / would have an influence on the extensors.
Digging, Swimming, E-stim with weight bearing, any balance activities.

It’s a very weird ‘ask’…

Agreed, a strange ask. I have asked for addtl info. I gave them the same response you gave me. I’m wondering if the dog is neurologically intact. Will let you know if I find out anything more relevant. Thank you for the response!
