I agree. Maladaptive pain is a big issue in many rehab patients, esp. when the issue has been going on for any length of time. I use a lot of Gabapentin and have also used a CRI before. Rehab Class for Geriatric Dogs
The class idea sounds good. I would like to consider doing something like that also. I'll have to put some brain-storming on my ToDo List. Haven't quite got around to a Weight Loss program/competition either. Too much to do!

I was thinking the same thing. We have done several extracap cruciate repairs on cats. I usually ask the owner to keep them in a bathroom or small room to minimize excess activity. I then encourage the owner to do activities like ask the cat to walk toward food (not leaving it out all the time), lov...
