Forms

We are expanding our services and adding an UWT. Past blogs gave me some great info on how to design the structure of room, visits, etc. One thing I am struggling with is wording on a clearance form from a rdvm. Initially we would like to authorize patients coming from other hospitals but are requir...

Re: Sinking rear end while standing

Thank you Laurie. Do you have general expectations for these cases in regards to time frame for 100% improvement? He is doing very well and the client is overly thrilled with where we are. However, I do see some sinking still (much less dramatic, and not consistently present). I am struggling with w...

Re: Sinking rear end while standing

Update: You nailed it! It has taken 3 visits to gain this nervous guy's trust but we have been able to progress nicely. I have found pain with lateral glides on C5-6. We are already seeing progress where he is more playful (than he has been in 2 years), and his sinking is still there, but much much ...

Sinking rear end while standing

Good Day! I have a 10yr old mn fit Weimaraner that has very recently started to literally sink in his rears while he is standing still. It is intermittent and non painful. His muscle tone is beautiful, decreased cp in both rears, but only slightly diminished (remaining neuro exam normal). I am unabl...

PRP and ESWT for Elbows

In a previous post about bilateral elbow OA management, it was suggested PRP and ESWT. For those with experience, what are typical treatment protocols? I am wondering if the arthritis is still mild, do we have a better chance with a one time treatment or at least yearly? Since my client will need to...

Room design info

Good Afternoon, We are adding a designated rehab room to our existing practice, and purchasing a UWT. The room size is 9 x 20 so the UTW will take up most of my space. Do others on the forum have any special type of air exchange or things in place to help with the humidity that the water will cause?...

Assisi Loop Rental

Good Afternoon, Does anyone "rent" out their assisi loop for trial? I have a couple of clients that I am recommending it to and I am really excited that both patients will benefit. However, one of them has experienced chronic arthritis for so many years that I think they will need to try it for at l...
