Re: Paintrace

Hi It is a subscription service. $400usd a month. I can see it being used when you have anxious dogs that are hard to interpret with palpation. Would also be good in geriatrics with multiple problem areas to ensure you are targeting treatments at all the affected areas. Im tempted to give it a go an...

I spoke to Deborah , a vet from the company, and its measuring electrical activity in the amygdala that correlates with pain. Its a subscription ...

The vibration seemed to turn off that UMN tone and also seemed to give him more strength in sit to stand and stand to sit exerci...

Not great for what I wanted to show you but you can see the fibrosis in the walk in the first video

Thanks

Re: Dog with Neospora

Hi Thanks for your suggestions Yes - the muscles feel fibrotic. The legs aren't really stuck in rigid extension like a spasticity. Extensors are tight as well - her walking isn't great but is functional. She can get some flexion of the hind legs but the limiting factor seems to be the max flexion an...

Hind legs are worse. She is reasonably pain free and functional (can walk and sit and get from sit to sta...

UMN spasticity

Hi I have a 9 year old labrador that is non'ambulatory 3 months post wobbler's surgery. He seems to be two steps forward one step back and progress is slow. He still has foreleg UMN spasticity and this is part of what is hampering recovery. I recently found that vibrational therapy might be helpful ...
